Fred Sisson, 87, of Quitman, Mississippi passed away on May 14, 2019 at his home in Crossett, Arkansas surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 5, 1931 to George and Lucy (Satcher) Sisson. Fred was a career welder, beginning in the army until his retirement in 1989. He was a naturalist who enjoyed walking in the woods, tending to plants, hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his family. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always laughing and smiling. Fred is survived by his brother, LeeRoy (Marie) Sisson; daughter, Susan Sisson; son, Donald (Krista) Sisson; and grandchildren, Jared (LeeAnn) Sisson and Amber Sisson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Lamerle Sisson; parents, George and Lucy Sisson and his sister, Essie Mae Arrington. Charlotte J. McPhail Dillard, 86, passed away on April 28, 2019 at the Christa House in Meridian, MS. She ended her battle with Alzheimer's and found peace surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born on September 5, 1932 to James William, Jr. and Agnus Elizabeth McPhail in Bassfield, MS. A graduate of Clarkdale High School, Charlotte was a devoted Christian, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was known to many during her years working as clerk in the Stonewall Post Office. She loved to sing in her church quartet and was a pilot at the Clarke county airport. She joins in Heaven her parents, James and Agnus McPhail; husband, Tommy Varnell Dillard; daughter, Cathy Dillard Boles; brothers, James McPhail and Bobby Ray McPhail; sister, Genece Gordon.
